Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, they are there to make every moment count. As a leading children’s hospice charity they support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

Their bespoke support is free of charge to families and includes a comprehensive range of therapies and support groups for the whole family, specialist nursing care and respite, symptom management, end-of-life care and bereavement support.

“I’m very pleased to be able to join The Ember Big Band for this special concert in aid of such a worthwhile cause. Shooting Star Children’s Hospices is doing stellar work in helping youngsters and their families cope with the most trying circumstances, and they need our support even more after a year in which Covid-19 has added extra difficulties in carrying out their vital services.”  Ken Bruce.
