Folk Music Evening with Faeland (plus guests)

In aid of Hampton & Hampton Hill Voluntary Care, Weir Archer Academy and Otakar Kraus Music Trust

Faeland are a folk-pop band from Stroud and Bristol, playing uplifting acoustic songs with a touch of the mystical, influenced by music from both sides of the Atlantic   .  Their original music is beautiful, enchanting, uplifting, technically impressive and extremely accessible, and will have you singing along and being moved instantaneously, regardless of whether or not you have heard their music before. There is something in the words and melodies which goes deeper than the everyday, touching on the mystical and the unspoken. The songs are performed on acoustic guitars, accordion, banjo, charango, violins, lush vocals and Celtic harp.

This will be the band’s final London appearance this year and an opportunity to hear new songs from their forthcoming second album, scheduled for release in 2020, as well as songs from last year’s critically-acclaimed debut, All My Swim (albums of the Year 2018: Folk Radio UK; Sam Bonham (BBC Introducing); Shire Folk Magazine).

The bar will be open from 6.30pm, with the performance starting at 7.30pm.
Standard Tickets: £15.00
Concessions: £12.00
