The Theatre is situated in the grounds of Hampton School. Access is via the main gate of Hampton School.
Please note: There are three schools on Hanworth Road – Hampton School is between Hampton High and The Lady Eleanor Holles School.
Arriving by car
We offer free parking for up to 100 cars. The Hammond Theatre is located in the grounds of Hampton School which is easily accessible from the M3 and the A316. If travelling from west or via the M25, join the M3. After junction 1 the M3 then becomes the A316 – leave at the first or third junction (A312). From the south and south east use Hampton Court Bridge. From the east come through Kingston, Teddington or Twickenham. From the north east come via Richmond and the A316.
Arriving by bus
The Theatre is easily accessible from Kingston, Hounslow and Twickenham via the bus services. The 111 stops right outside and runs a night service to.
The R70 stops near to the Theatre. The 216 stops at Hampton Station and the nearest R68 stop is ten minutes away.
Arriving by train
Hampton (London) railway station is a 20 minute walk away. Hampton station, is in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and is on the Shepperton branch line. It is in Travelcard Zone 6. The station and all trains serving it are operated by South West Trains and the trains run on the Waterloo-Shepperton line. Access for people with disabilities
The Hammond Theatre auditorium has four wheelchair spaces plus space for one free person accompanying the wheelchair user. Please note these spaces have to be booked in advance by phoning the box office.

The auditorium has a wireless infra-red (Sennheiser) system. This technology uses an invisible infra red light to connect sound source and listener, this uses your current hearing device on the T setting.
Tickets can only be purchased though the website via a secure booking system. This system enables you to select your seats through a seating plan. Your ticket will be in the form of an e-ticket, this is emailed to you when you have completed payment. Please bring this along when you arrive for your performance or on a mobile or tablet device.
All tickets have a 50p booking fee, to cover credit cards costs.

Exchanges and refunds
Tickets are valid only for the date and time stated.
Please check your tickets on receipt as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
Tickets cannot be exchanged or money refunded, unless the performance is cancelled
Tickets are sold subject to the rules and regulations of the event organiser/venue which are available on request.
The management reserves the right, in combination with any other statements that may be displayed on the premises to:
- Refuse admission of the ticket holder to the premises
- Request the ticket holder to leave the premises
- Refuse admission to the auditorium of latecomers or delay entry until a suitable break or interval in the performance/event
- Cancel or abandon a performance/event for reasons beyond its control without notice and without being liable to pay any person any compensation or damage whatsoever other than at the management’s discretion a possible percentage or maximum refund to the ticket holder of the value of the ticket
Audience members who leave the auditorium once the performance has started may be asked to wait in the foyer until an appropriate moment in the performance to re-admit them. Re-admittance may be refused if there is no appropriate moment or admittance will cause disruption. No refund or exchange will be offered.
Smoking is prohibited within the whole site.
The use of photographic or recording equipment is not allowed within the building unless stated otherwise.
Mobile phones, pagers, watches and other portable electrical devices must be silenced, including vibration functions, before entering the auditorium.
