Shooting Star Children’s Hospices cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families, across 15 London boroughs and throughout Surrey. Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, they are there to make every moment count. As a leading children’s hospice charity they support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

Their bespoke support is free of charge to families and includes a comprehensive range of therapies and support groups for the whole family, specialist nursing care and respite, symptom management, end-of-life care and bereavement support.

“I’m very pleased to be able to join The Ember Big Band for this special concert in aid of such a worthwhile cause. Shooting Star Children’s Hospices is doing stellar work in helping youngsters and their families cope with the most trying circumstances, and they need our support even more after a year in which Covid-19 has added extra difficulties in carrying out their vital services.”  Ken Bruce.
